  1. What are your rates?

    Our rates are $345 per hour for the principal attorney Bruce E. Methven, $295 per hour for associate and "of counsel" attorneys, and $65 per hour for paralegals.

  2. Do you handle...?

    We handle all types of work for businesses and business owners including, but certainly not limited to, entity formation, raising capital through securities offerings, contracts, trademarks and copyrights, employee and independent contractor issues, and dissolution. We do not handle bankruptcy or patents. We also handle many types of estate issues including estate planning, trust administration, and probate. In real estate, we handle all sorts of contract and transactional issues. However, we do not handle foreclosures for consumers.

  3. I'm being sued, can you help?

    Typically, we only handle breach of contract, real estate, trademark litigation, and various cases affecting businesses. We do not handle personal injury or malpractice.

  4. Do you handle cases on a contingency fee basis?

    In most cases, we only work on an hourly basis. However, we do handle certain probate situations on a contingency bases. Feel free to call or email us to see if this applies to your situation.

  5. How much would it cost to...?

    We do not give estimates without first hearing about your situation. Every case, just like every person, is different and we would need to know some information first. Of course, any estimates we do give you, should you contact us, are estimates only and the actual fees may be higher.

  6. Your rates seem expensive, are there discounts available?

    Sorry, we do not give discounted services. Our houly rates may seem high but attorneys in larger firms charge anywhere up to and above $500 per hour. You may call or email us for a no obligation estimate and, depending on your specific situation, you might find the cost of our service is more affordable than you think.

  7. Do you know of any free or low cost legal advice services?

    Many questions you have may be answered by the Nolo Press publishing company. If you visit their website, you will find various books on everything from incorporating your business to getting a divorce. You may also call your local county bar association and ask for their attorney referral service then ask for attorneys who work on a pro bono basis. Further, you may also call your local legal aid center.

  8. Is it possible for you to prepare/review my contract/estate planning overnight or in a couple days?

    It is possible for this to happen depending on the attorney's schedule and availability. Please call or email us  for the attorney's availability and pricing.

  9. I'm a disabled person, are your offices wheelchair accessible or can the attorney come to me?

    Our office is located inside a home converted into offices. There are stairs leading to the front door and into our conference room so you would need some assistance which would be offered by our staff. Depending on the attorney's schedule and your location, in-house or hospital appointments are available upon request.
